Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she met in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. Her portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following on social media.
